Construction of the Screening Breakwater for LNG Terminal
in Swinoujscie

Construction of completely new screening breakwater to the East from opening to
the port of Świnoujście along with the groin adjacent to the existing eastern
breakwater. 3 km long breakwater has been built according to the design that
included a construction of:
- sandy and rocky core,
- gentle slopes of breakwater toe which were reinfirced with geotextile and X-bloc®
mound
- concrete superstructure along with concrete parapet wall
Additionally, dredging works were carried out within new turning basin and
approach fairway.
